Internal VOX capability for hands-free operation

The Icom IC-F3003, IC-F4003 handheld radio has internal VOX capability for hands-free operation. An optional compatible headset can be used with the OPC-2004 adapter cable. In addition, VOX sensitivity and VOX delay time can be adjusted up or down.

Call Selection, Quiet Waiting and More

2-Tone and 5-Tone Signaling gives you call selection, quiet waiting and other convenient functions with programming. The operator's "cut" function disables the radio via radio signal and the "revive" function restores the radio operation.

Scan Features

Priority scan allows you to monitor one or two priority channels while scanning other non-priority channels. The broadcast channel and talkback functions allow you to make a quick response while scanning.
